Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is situated in a superb location, ideal for exploring Oxford while offering convenient parking. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well serviced, although room location can be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. The service is friendly and apologetic for any inconveniences. The dining experience has its ups and downs, with some quirky aspects. Overall, a great value for the excellent location and service provided.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though spotless and comfortable with a lovely en-suite shower room, were quite noisy due to the location right on the main road. The service was average, with some rude interaction noted, but the location close to the city center and amenities was convenient. The dining options were good, with fresh fruit and crisp linens, while the facilities met basic needs.
The hotel rooms were better equipped than we would have thought, very nice and clean, full of character with old beams, a comfortable bed, and windows you could actually open to see the sights. I would have no hesitation about staying here again.
